Leather CPR...WOW!

Ok, here is the story. I jst bought a 2005 KR with 33,000 miles on it. It looked like the guy before me had never conditioned the leather. The front seats were dry & had a few stains on them. Here are the products I used in order: Lexol, did ok, nothing great, seats still looked dry; King Ranch conditioner, liked this better than Lexol, but still left the seats seeming dry & did very little to hide the stains. I conditioned with the KR stuff 3 times. I decided to try Leather CPR this weekend. O my gosh! That stuff was amazing. It made the seats darker than any of the others & also left them looking moisturized. It also helped remove/hide the stains very good. Hopefully this will hold up for a while, but this was the first one that actually made the seats look somewhat new again.

I also did the hot towel treatment on the steering wheel & console & that really helped those areas. I may get brave enough to try it on the seats in the future.

Hey guys, I have to agree with Noahtn on this. After reading his post, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond because it was down the street from me and picked up the round jar of CPR ($7.99). There was a tube type too, but I got the jar because it came with a sponge under the lid.

Anyway, it was fantastic. I did one seat and half the armrest to see the difference and it was astonding. This is the best product for the KR seats.

It made mine look new again and very soft.

I will post picture tonight when I get home of the two seats. You will definitely see the difference.

I also put it on my 2 year old faded black leather coat and it looks new again.

I REALLY LOVE THIS STUFF.

I didn't really take care of my KR leather and let it go, but now using the CPR is like new again. As promised I took a picture of my arm rest with only half of it done.

The seats look just as good now.

The CPR does work very well, I use both the KR conditioner and CPR on my seats...seems like a good combo.

Maybe I'll have to try the CPR again. All you guys (especially RockPick) can't be wrong.

Maybe I just did it improperly, and that's why I didn't like it. :o

And I just ordered two more bottles of KR conditioner (with the discount code, thanks, RockPick) too! What do I do with them if I become a "convert"?

Sorry for all the emoticons - seemed like a good time to toss them in!

I am glad that it is working great for you guys too. It was realy amazing the difference it made. I bought the kind in the tub also; I don't know if the tube is the same stuff or not; I assume it is. I will still use the KR also I think. I like the smell of it. I wonder after more CPR treatments if the leather will keep getting darker? I guess I will have to keep trying & see how it progresses.
