rancher/RP - yes... that's the stuff I use.... although I haven't done my seats since last fall as I barely use the truck anymore... (FJ Cruiser is more fun...:o )

I've tried a few others but Leathermaster is probably my favorite....

Mike does this stuff really live up to what it says? The thought of something blocking out stains etc sounds good. I am not so worried about my seats, but hate the thought of my steering wheel turning black someday.

It wouldn't be fair to comment on the longevity/protection as I'm not the best at keeping a regular leather maintainance schedule.... think of it though as putting a sealant on your car.... all the hard work is in the prep.... there are alot of good instructions here about cleaning with warm/hot water first and then conditioning.

After a good cleaning, I've had good results with LeatherMaster... but you could probably say the same about other conditioners as well such as KR lotion, Lexol, etc.... it's really going to depend on how dirty it gets and your schedule for cleaning.

Once it warms up, I'll post some pics of my truck (2002 KR 4x4 Screw, 67K miles, original owner) after I clean it up... the seats still look fairly good considering I've owned it since 10/01.
