Fingernail Polish

This is just an fyi to the community.

Should you happen to find fingernail polish on your seats, and have no alternative but to leave it there for 5 days...

I took a hot, wet rag and laid it on the affected area for a couple of minutes. Then, carefully scratched off the nail polish with my fingernail... much as you would on your own skin. It came right off.

After the seat dried, I "re-washed" the area with another hot, damp rag. Let it dry, then conditioned the whole seat.

Like it never happened.

Which begs the question...

Why would she (or you) be painting your finger/toe nails in the truck? LOL!

I would be kicking someone's **** for getting that crap on my seats! Look on the bright side, it wasnt cloth! Just the other day the fiance spilled power makeup in the console drink holder. No more putting on makeup in the truck!

I started to add a similar caveat to my previous post but elected to move on and inquire -- and face the consequences of finding out. HA!

Alright, since y'all are so curious, I'll tell ya the story. It ain't a good one.

My daughter was walking to a friend's house on Feb 1. She was hit by some ****er who drove off and left her there.

Many good samaritans stopped to help her. They called 911, called me, and gathered up her belongings which were strewn all about.

Those belongings included a couple bottles of fingernail polish. They put them back in her purse for her.

Anyway, my wife and I arrived at the scene in Earl (my 05 KR F150). He needs a supercharger... badly. We should've taken the 05 Mustang GT to get there.

Long story short... Ambulance arrives, I ride with my daughter to the hospital. Wife grabs daughter's purse, throws it in Earl's passenger seat while following ambulance. Fingernail polish escapes purse. Daughter has surgery on Feb 2nd to repair a busted pelvis. ****er still on the loose . I clean my seat. I post here. Daughter is now walking without any assistance whatsoever.
