Thank god for warrenty! I was at my local Ford dealership last week for a small problem I was haveing with my driver side door, the problem was fixed quickly and it was warrenty work but while the tech was working on the door I asked him how long it would take to swap out my stock door handles for a set of the Mark LT handles and he told me it was a 6 hour job at a $100 bucks an hour labour!!!
I told him you gotta be nuts if you think I am paying $600+tax to install $300 handles. 6 hours to install 4 handles? Gotta love when they try and robb you with a straight face...

 

Okay I got the noise fixed and the news is better than anticipated. The service order reads as follows: "Found blend door cam rubbing the blend door actuator rod. Adjusted and lubed cam assy. Retest O.K." So the dash did not come out. I am glad for that. I don't know what the bill would be but I am also glad that I did not have to pay for that also!

So there it is~~~~That's the story!!
