Conditioning will make it blend in with the seat more, but you won't get rid of it.....and you shouldn't either. It becomes part of the truck's history.
Look at a 50 year old Rolls Royce.....better still look at an 80 year old Rolls Royce....covered with 'patination' but still a delight to sit in and on.
You can't get rid of it 100%, but you can blend it in to where it will be barely noticeable, although it will still bug the ***** out of you until you either recover the seat or sell the truck.
Seems there are a lot of guys down in Texas in the business of dying KR seats (particulary in Ft Worth, IIRC). That may or may not help a little (no doubt they could render an opinion over the phone as to whether or not dye can help to cover over minor scratches). However, as has been stated, it isn't totally going away no matter what. I actually have a few friends who carry those stupid things and I always worry but never ask that they remove them. So far, no damage that I've been able to detect...
It's leather!
Leather shows what it's been subjected to over time. Like Lenny said, it's called "patina", and it's what makes leather such a special covering. You might even find some "range marks' (barbed wire scratches and other interesting scars if you are lucky). Conditioner will blend the scratches in, but they won't go away. Soon, you'll get some new marks that will make you forget all about the wallet scratches.
The things that will really drive you up the wall though are stains. These irregular blobs look ugly and don't add to the "character" of leather. Don't let people eat greasy food in your truck and you'll be happy. Hell, you'll be putting scratches on the seat yourself, so learn to live with them.

I carry one of those stupid things. I just simply turn the wallet around. Problem Solved!!

I have a set of seat covers that I use for going to the lake, but that's about it...way I look at it is I know the Leather is going to get scratched etc, I bought the KR to enjoy the leather so wouldn't want to look at seat covers all the time and hide the best feature of the KR model.....let the leather get it's patina and enjoy!!
