Attention "Old" King Ranchers...

Daveman has rejoined the KR ranks as of this past weekend! I talked with him on the phone yesterday and he mentioned that he'd be poking his head back in to rattle a cage or three. Keep your eyes peeled!

Who, What, Where, When ???

Daveman.....?
I thought we banished him 'cause he went off to build fences and stuff !!

Actually I often think about him and wonder where he is and what he's doing.

(Well not that often !!!)

Hi Dave !!

All we need now is Skagel !
She was last seen driving a Lotus or two around Houston !

Old Timers !!

Hi Rockpick, Lenny and everyone else that may or may not remember me, man it's been a few years hasn't it? I got the KR fever when I looked at an '08 with NAV. I had an '07 Chevy van I needed to get rid of so I decided to trade in the '03 Expedition with 62k miles and the van together to buy the KR. I got the Mahogany KR for $98 over invoice with minimal add ons like no moon roof, no bed extender, no DVD, no backup camera or backup sensors. I really miss my backup sensors that were factory installed on my other vehicles as well as the '03 Expedition. The new '08 drives and performs much better than the '05 I had and subsequenty sold due to vibration and sluggishniss.

I have two questions for the group or anyone who can answer.
1. Does anyone know where I can purchase a factory quality backup sensor system that I can install myself?
2. Does anyone know where I can purchase a service DVD for my new ride with wiring schematics and such? I've had them in the past for every other truck and usually picked them up off Ebay.

Well, I'll be dropping in on occasion to say HI and see what's going on but my life is very busy with running a Saw Shop business and working as an Engineer for a vehicle manufacturer called Force Protection. Force Protection designs and builds Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles for the US military at about $0.5 million per copy. Those of you interested in Force Protection can visit www.forceprotection.net to inquire.

Later,

~DM~

Hey, Dave! Good seeing you back in the Castano saddle!

As for your questions:

1. Can't help. Not sure. Might do some searching or asking around within the 04+ forum.
2. I have the 05' manual. Of course, as we both know, the FoMoCo Engineers have likely tweaked certain wire runs/wire colors/and general logic behind that of the 2005. I'd be happy to send it over to you some how -- it's a PDF. Maybe just transfer it to you via MSN Mess?

Fire me an email and we'll make it happen!
