What is the proper type of cloth to apply the King Ranch leather conditioner with?

Shop towels are quite OK..
Don't let anyone tell you that something special is required...
I've been using them for 6 years now on 4 different KR's.
Just turn frequently, and use a clean one to buff up after application !

I prefer to apply by hand but I sure do wind up stubbing my fingers a lot. I personally use just a soft cotton thing to rub in/wipe up the residue, but I have settled on a pretty strange process that I'm quite certain is unique among KR owners.

Hi Lenny (John, really)!! :santa:

I also prefer to apply it by hand. The conditioner goes alot further that way otherwise I find the cloth soaks up too much of it.

I gotta hand it to ya Lenny, that was pretty funny. On the other hand, this sort of discussion can come in really handy, especially for those new to KR leather. That stuff can really be a handful at times. It's best to seek advice vs. just jumping in and trying your hand at KR leather care. Once you know what you're doing, you can attack any situation that might arise handily. OK, I need to get a handle on myself...as you said - this is getting out of hand!

hand, hand, hand, hand, HAND!

There...

I never thought about using my hand...makes sence with a towel sucking it up before it gets to the leather.
