Dent repair

Alright so I took my 07 f150 KR to the dealer last weekend and had a dent removed on the side of my truck from somebody hitting it, anyways I looked at it the other day in direct sun and the whole side of the truck has this weird glare look to it. Seems like the clear cote might have been buffed out? Now it seems that somebody over at the dealers body shop got a little carried away with the buffer or something? Is there any way I can fix it? What if I wax it? Or should I just take it back to the dealer?

Thanks

Is that fresh paint? If I weren't happy with the work, I'd go back.

Clearcoat is paint... it's just clear paint.

Not sure I understand what you're describing. Glare? Kind of a haze? Swirls? Was it resprayed?

If it were me, I'd have it back to the shop for some 'one on one' help and explanation into your issue.

ya its like a haze that I couldnt wipe off. If you look at it in the sun a certain way you can see it best.

I'm going to try and wax it and see if it fixes it. Then take it back to the dealer if it doesnt.

Before you wax it, you may want to take it back....if it's a fresh paint you don't want to wax it for a bit to let the paint fully cure.....
