The KR is Gone...

I traded the old boy for an '06 SD Harley truck tonight. Things I won't miss about the KR are:

1) Sitting on the seats after treating them with leather conditioner and making marks.

2) Treating the seats to obscene amounts of Lexol/KRSS every other week.

3) Never placing anything on the seats.

4) Fearing the sun like a vampire for fear of it drying out the seats.

5) Cringing whenever anyone who was not properly trained in KR seat care and maintenance sat on the seats.

6) Being otherwise totally **** about the seats.

7) Finally, I'll miss all the compliments from people that rode in my KR. Oh yeah, I'll definitely miss that lovely leather smell.

BTW - I didn't trade him because of the leather. Not at all...the Harley truck just caught my eye and really made an impression on me. And it's three years newer.

The leather is like my old baseball glove, it will get stains, but i can live with it. My dad had a 1980 Mustang, red leather seats, when i was about 8 years old i got real sick and justed diarrhea right on his seats, it cleaned up ok, but i have a two year old and one on the way. So i am just waiting for pay back. My dad never got mad, so i will have to remember that.

Hate to see you go, Mike but can certainly relate to your aforementioned reasoning on why you won't miss the analine! Best of luck to you and please don't be a stranger!

Personally, the wear & stains adds character just like the barb wire scratches & wear areas.
