Castano Leather Hides?

Hello,

Im currently working on building a sub enclosure for my King Ranch, and Im looking to cover it in Castano leather.

I found this thread : https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...+State+Tannery

However, I couldnt really find anything definitive within the thread.

Anyone got any ideas how to get ahold of this stuff?

Thanks.

I don't think it's nearly as uncommon now...

If you're wanting 'genuine' Castano, go ahead and take out a second and third mortgage...

If you're looking for something that's pretty close, you may either try contacting a local upholstry shop or finding a thread where someone mentioned that they found something that matches perfectly.... I actually held a sample of the material mentioned in that thread but, for the life of me, I cannot recall who had it... I'll look around to see what I can find for you.

I've looked around and cannot find it. I know it's here... just can't remember who had originally found the stuff.

Another option for you might be to buy a seatback cover or similar and slice and dice. User dufunnel formerly had a couple of extras that he was looking to divest. You might email him.
