Angry need to get out of my lease

Hey guys, I am in the Marine Corps and I am leasing a 07 KR f150. I got into some trouble as of two weeks ago and I got my drivers license revoked so I can no longer drive my truck which means I am paying for a truck I cant drive that I am not gonna keep at the end of the lease. I need to find a way out of it. If you guys know of any way I can do this then please let me know. Also if you are interested in taking over the payments on my truck I am open to that as well. Thanks.

First of all, you license was revoked? And it must be for a long period of time since you want to get rid of your truck. Have you advertised locally? When did you start the lease? How long is the lease? Whatever you do, it's gonna hurt you.....unless you can get someone to take over your lease.

Good luck - and stay the hell out of trouble.

since you are in the marines, i would assume that you will be deploying at some point. dont quote me on this: get a copy of your deploymeny orders (as long as they are over 6 months, i believe) and take them down to the dealership and get out of your lease. "soldiers and sailors act." i think they updated it like 2 years ago. again dont quote me though. do some of your own research into the soldiers and sailors act and see what can help you get out of that lease.

I can't remember the name of the company, but there are one or two out there who specialize on "reselling" leases to other people.

Check clarkhoward.com, I've heard him talk about them before.

You need to get your lawyer to petition that your license is needed to make a living. Priveldges will be limited to driving to/from work and living essentials. No more 4 wheeling on the weekends.

I have had guys do that all the time after a DWI arrests. The way judges are now, they still do it after SEVERAL DWI arrests.
