Planning on ordering direct from factory a loaded King Ranch through the local dealer. They said they can give me $100 above invoice and I think I can get them to go a little lower (maybe).

Question is: Do I order it now with the current rebate of $3000 or do I wait and gamble on a better rebate come April?

I get whatever rebate is being offered at the time the truck is delivered (not ordered) and it takes up to 8 weeks for delivery. Is it worth the gamble? With Ford's current financial situation, I can only imagine the rebates will get better, but I would also like to have the truck asap. Thanks.

Why not search around for a KR equipped the way you like? You can do this easily from Ford's website or you can let your dealer do the search for you.

As to whether to buy now from dealer inventory or to order your truck the way you like it, you take a chance when ordering the vehicle the promotion or rebate will have been discontinued at delivery. Given the competition in the truck market and given Ford needs to sell as many of the trucks as possible, I would reasonably assume the rebates will still be in place in 2 months. Just my 2 cents worth of opinion. Best of luck.
