Cheesy 4X4 stickers .... gone

After much debate I removed the rear quarter panel 4X4 stickers on our King Ranch... What an improvement... I never cared for the fact that you could see the edge of the clear all the way around. I was prepared with a heat gun and solvent, but one tug took them off with no heat required and no residue.

I'm still not too 'anti-sticker'... it may clean it up if they were gone though. I think I'll leave mine in-situ for now.

That is the first thing I would do. I hate all Ford's stickers, with "Sport" being my worst offender. I would like to get a Fx2 some day, and that dumb sticker will come off in a hurry.

Funny Story... 4x4 Stickers

With my 2002 Explorer Sport Trac 4x4...

First trip up the hill to Lake Tahoe for some snow fun a few winters ago. The Highway Patrol didn't want me to pass without chains because there was no externaly visable sticker that showed the truck to be a 4x4.

After a "little dicussion" I pointed to the **** on the dash and he let me through.

Maybe that sticker isn't that bad looking ;-)

They were off my truck within an hour of bringing her home. I used a heat gun on low and they peeled right off.
