Wiper Blades

It's time to replace the wiper blades on my 2006. Any thoughts on how to cover more surface area of the windshiels? There is about 2" of area that the blade on the drivers side misses and I was curious if putting a larger blade on that side may work.

yes you can, just about everyone i know has done it. i put larger on and do not remember the size. cant get out to the truck right now. if your windows are dirty it would be and easy measure. just remember another inch of blade only gives you 1/2 inch at each end. does make a big difference for blind spots.

The factory blades are 20". You can replace with 21' or even 22s, but I don't think that is going to help you with the blind spot near the post on the left. The blades stop straight up, about 2 inches from the end of the glass. Some have taken of the blade , filed off the notch on the cam, and reindexed their blade. This will allow the blade to go all the way to the left.

21" Silblades on mine. Search Silblades and you'll find a wealth of information here... they're FANTASTIC and, in my opinion, SECOND TO NONE on the market.
