Best Conditioner Products

Is the KR brand conditioner better than other products such as Zymol?

I have a shelf full of leather products(Lexol,Meguires,Leather CPR), and the KR is my favorite. I can't speak for the Zymol b/c I have not tried it yet though.
I say go ahead and buy a couple different types and see which you prefer.
The cost is insignificant compared to the cost of the seats.

It is all preference on this. You could do a search and see that this topic has been beat to death. There is a range of products in use....Connely's, Leather CPR, Lexol, Leathermaster, Zymol, Meguires, the KR conditioner. I prefer Lexol or Leather CPR myself, also with that said I haven't tried all of these personally to say use them or don't . I have used Lexol,Leather CPR, Meguires, and the KR conditioner.

I use premium-grade portland cement with a touch of canola oil. I really like the chunky feel.

agreed Lenny. When I ran a cost calc on the different conditioners I thought I may had taken it to far, but I do believe RP deffinately tops the list for interesting ways to use your background!

SO RP please send us your analysis and how you came to the conclusion on this portland cement and oil stuff!!!

I can refer you to a good analytical laboratory to do your own testing however; I'm not going to be able to tip my cards such that you're able to learn the 'TOTAL' secret of portland cement.

Another fine product -- schist with a drop or two of cinammon oil... gives it a nice shimmer to the finish... I prefer Ducktown, Tennessee's schist honestly -- watch out for the non-gem quality garnets though... it's decent low-end metamorphic... journey up to Chunky Gal Mountain and you can even see some low-level igneous (boudins).

If you order from Kings Ranch

If you order from Kings Ranch, the conditioner is $ 9.00 a bottle plus shipping.
On e-Bay it's 20.00 plus shipping, plus someone on here can give you a code for KR Owners for even more of a discount

(Proud that you mention Portland though having stood there many times with geographical field trips....a lovely spot on the south coast of England in the county of Dorset !)

The "Isle of Portland" (Though it isn't really an island, just a spur of land attached to the mainland ) is where the original Portland Stone came from to build things like St Pauls Cathedral, and many of the prominent buildings in London that stand out because of the white Portland stone.
I'm afraid your 'Portlands' are just a rip off !!!

This is especially for Brad though !

Exactly. Been using it for years. The key is correct application. Something with an open weave holds the product well. Scotchbrite Pads are just the nuts. Polish with a carborundum sheet on a palm sander with light pressure and your seats will be a reference.
