Another New Grille

Well, after much thought I decided to change the grille.......yet again.

The first one was a Harley Grille......

I liked this grille, but I didn't like how open it was......being able to look right in there at the radiator.
I also didn't like the fact there was nothing for the bumper, to match it.

Next I tried the Lincoln Mark LT grille but I just couldn't get over the 'poser' stance, and the fact I didn't have the Lincoln wheels or emblems......This is a KR after all.

Nothing to match for the bumper on this one, either.

(sorry, no pics) but it looked a lot like this.......

So, back to the original, with a little twist......

So far, I like this setup the best. The bumper is finally closed, and it matches. I don't like seeing the honeycomb behind the polished stainless billets, but I might be able to paint that honeycomb area black, or something.

I even bought a black H-bar grille, so I could experiment with it. I thought I might paint it and the surround body color, then put these billets in it. Try it with the painted surround and the chrome surround.

Anybody ever seen an H-bar and surround painted body color?

Any pics?

I personally still like the HD out of your three combos.

I'm a little biased too

I agree...but I certainly understand wanting to change it up a bit.

I kind of like it KA... I've never really found an aftermarket grille that I thought would look right on our trucks but, by going with the stock look and adding a twist, I think you're going down the right path... I like it.

I had been thinking about what grille would look good on a copper king ranch. Thanks for the pics!

BTW I like #3.
