A couple of more questions,
Does any MFG make AZ beige mud flaps to enhance the KR special two tone paint job??
And in one of the photos here in KR, one of the members photos showed Saddle Bags on the rear of the seat???
Did Ford decide that two more pieces of leather were too much for the extra $2500.00 KR premium??
And one more thing, it alppeared in someones photo album that they had a black plastic storage box that fits under the rear drivers seat. ??? I miss my behind the seat storage that the '01 had.

I see none on ebay at the moment but, they *DO* exist (I had a set for my old KR). Not sure who makes them for Ford but, they were a Ford original accessory. There's a thread here in KR somewhere that lists all of the 2001-2002 KR specific accessories... but, being that you have a 06', we're both out of luck. Some have, however, painted Husky splash guards to match... not sure about durability though.

The leather in the KR is quite a bit different than that of a Lariat. Further, the KR is what's known as a Marquis version and hence, the premium price tag. It's long since been known that subtle details add up to large price differences -- the KR is no exception. Honestly, it probably costs a minuscule amount more to produce and they charge a hefty premium for that minuscule amount. I'll go out on a limb here and say that the KR and the Harley editions are the highest profit margin F-150's made... also, maybe the L for the late models.

It's called the DuHa storage system. If you have audiophile, it won't work. Like you, I miss the storage that my 01 provided... tis life. *shrugs*
Hope that helps!

I would like to find some also. I picked up some black ones today, but they do not fit correctly when I checked them and I will take them back tomorrow. I did find color matched bug deflector for the hood and the wind deflectors for the windows.

Brad....and others,
The Expy does have saddle bags on the backs of the seats....with flaps, which if you remember Ford did leave off for a while, a couple of years back.
It was either cost cutting, or they realised a standard road atlas didn't quite fit in there allowing the flap to close !

Lenny - how are the pockets "attached" to your seatbacks - in channels like the old days or "gussetted" leather pockets - like I wish mine were?
I thought this may be of interest! I took this photo at the North American International Auto Show in 2004.
My 05 has no flaps on the bags.

Except the Expy is 5000 miles away on t'other side of the Atlantic.I won't see it again until late October !
Well, that's a bummer. Nice picture there...
Looks like they 'considered' putting them on it for the new model year and then culled it -- probably as a cost savings method.
