So here's my question/dilemma:
I'm attempting something half way creative on the inside of the KR and looking for some advice. My plan is to take a longhorn hide and cut it to size to fit over the part of the front door that sticks out on the bottom; you know the part where you put maps, flashlights, drink, etc. I think it will look really good and it will prevent me from scuffing up the part that sticks out on the door with my boot. I've got the hide and have been trying to figure out how to adhere it to the door panel. Any ideas? I tried double sided tape with no luck (would not adhere to the hide). After I am successful at this venture, I'm going to wrap the subwoofer box and then maybe the "Oh S*#t" handles on the A-frame. I will definately post pics once done. So again, what would be the best "glue" to attach the hide to the plastic. Any and all suggestions are welcome with thanks.

Not sure which glue would be best, but I would recommend an adhesive that is fairly thick. If it's viscosity is too low, it may soak too far into the leather and make it hard and crusty feeling.
I will try to remember to look up what we use at work for bonding leather to plastic. I work at a place that does custom aircraft interiors so we should have a glue listed that will do the trick. I normally work more on the avionics side so I can't tell you the glue off of the top of my head. If I don't post up here tomorrow (4-5-2006) send me an e-mail to remind me. I have a tendency to get busy at work and forget things.
