DON"T DO IT!!! Don't use things like saddle soap. Unless you want your seats to get very very dark and have that hard look to them. You really need to look at the KR Conditioner, Lexol, or Leather CPR. Unless you are using some product on your saddles and tack that makes the leather look brand new still.

It isn't saddle soap. It is leather conditioner, but I use it for all kinds of leather including my tack, boots, etc. I am going to check it first on an out of the way spot. I forget the name on it, but it is much better than saddle soap.

Just didn't want you to ruin your leather in anyway is all. Alot of us here have tried many things on our leather(some with less than stellar results*lexol cleaner comes to mind*).

I appreciate that. I got it from the HLSR last year and it has worked great for all my other leather items. I will let everyone know how it works though.

is the foam padding used in the KR seat's the same as cloth seat's? The Ford dealer I deal with is replacing the foam and seat fabric on the drivers seat, seam near the lumbar support has ripped, and I'm sitting on the metal support...I don't think I'm fat, 6ft 4 235 lbs...

I don't feel as if I am sitting on the metal and I'm 5'11" and 240. They are definitely firmer than the cloth ones in the '99 I just traded in though.

I'm not certain about the seats but, I seem to have some recollection about the foam in the late model KR being different from that in the Lariats down. Seems like it had something to do with leather stretching and such...

Not sure on the new body style though... my hunch would be that it'd be similar though.

Would the foam be a different part number potentially? Might be worth checking with your Ford parts counter to see if they can confirm this...
