I was hoping NASCAR17 would read the thread again and update everyone on how his seats are holding up. If you know how to contact him, let him know I am interested, as I am sure others are as well.

I talked to Dean Scott in Dallas and he said that he wouldn't charge more than $150 per seat and that would include replacement of some panels of the seats. He said that they're doing work for 32 dealerships in DFW, so I am sure you can get some references to find out if this stuff is the real deal.

Any advice on new KR seats as far as taking care of them? Also any advice on how to get power to them? I have 2010 screw that had manual seats, got them on ebay in perfect condition. The reconditioning looks good.

Colornew is the folks that Grapevine Ford uses...you could try calling them and ask them who the manager of make ready is and see if they can give you a name.

I recall there were two guys in DFW that worked for Colornew(Its a franchise)

I also heard the guy in Fort Worth is the better of the them.

The man's name is Dean Scott. His number is 817-939-5447.

I had him do my seats several months ago. My Forum membership has been messed up so I could not post the details.

He changed his process a bit. Instead of spraying it on, he mixes the dye with the King Ranch Leather Conditioner and rubs it on by hand.

Okay thank you so much. My seats have darkened a bit from sweat from this summer and couldn't get much off trying to clean them. I'll give them a call. Have your seats looked good even with them rubbing in the dye instead of painting it?

Yes it does. I had him do the drivers seat again because I had some darker sections that just a bit darker from sweat (wearing shorts, where my bare leg hits seat) and he did that with no problem.

Since he did them I have used a seat cover on the drivers seat when I wear shorts.

The seats look very good. I would say almost as good as brand new.
