I'm trying to get the power folding mirrors installed on my 04 XLT. What does the power fold switch look like? Is it part of the mirror adjustment switch?

It looks just like the Lariat's interior switch. The only difference is that, when you pull the **** directly back towards the window controls, your mirrors will activate.

ROFL...

I would typically concur with the conspiracy theory but, GM has actually had the power folding mirrors for two or three years now...

Plus, it's dzervit... I mean, let's be serious here.....

Michigan guys don't want to get out of our trucks to fold our mirrors after Nov. 15 - that's when it starts snowing in the UP and it doesn't stop until late April. So maybe Ford could offer the folding power mirror option and do it even better than GM [$188 invoice price from GM]?

I've been looking to get those for my SCrew - been talking to Kevin at Fred Martin Ford in Ohio - Power switch at $23, driver mirror at $170 and Passenger mirror at $100 - does anyone think we need more parts? If the window/lock/morror control pannel is the same as the Lariat .. anyone know if the harness is the same?

The wiring harness is NOT the same. I have a F150 2005 Screw and tried to mont the power folding mirrors on my truck. The Power folding mirror has an additional 4 pins in the electrical connection. There is also an additional realy involved. I am waiting for a wiring book to arrive today to see how to wire. You would think a Lariat 2005 wiring harness would be the same as the King Ranch 2005 but sadly to say it is not.
