Autospring has arrived and is now INSTALLED

I just recv'd my 1 5/8" leveling kit. I will take before pictures tomorrow and begin the installation on Friday (don't want the wife totally pissed on Thursday, since all I do is give compliments on all the food I eat) after I call to schedule an alignment to make sure I can get one for the afternoon.

I am hoping to get pictures of the whole process. I don't do too much work on my vehicles (oil, air filter, alot of little bs stuff), so we'll see.

Will post pics after completed.

Chris,

Good luck man, let me know if you run into problems. I've done the mod before using the much more difficult kit from Daystar that requires a complete disassembly of the front end upper ball joints and removal of the entire spring/shock tower and compress the spring, what a PIA. When I get a kit, it will be the design like Autospring using a more basic approach.

I look forward to seeing the pics.

Later,

~DM~

INSTALLED

I have installed my autospring, I told everyone that I wasn't a mechanic but it is completed.

I had some points when I was quite concerned.

Luckily my friend was there for me.

I started at 0910 we finished at 1500 but it only took us 1 hour for the other side.

I ordered the 1 5/8" lift which should have given me 2" lift and left my truck an inch lower in the front than in the rear.

Rear rim to bottom of fender 15 1/2" front 12 1/2" before.

Rear rim to bottom of fender 15 1/2" front 15" after.

I haven't got the alignment yet due to it take me so long. When I say so long I don't do much vehicle maintenance. I will say that if I can do this anyone can do this (does require a friend).

Pictures to follow tomorrow after the alignment.

I am very pleased with the look.

Now time for many step 22s
