Hello everyone! New to the Forum (which is excellent by the way) and seriously considering F150 KR 4X4. There are some great galleries to look at but the one thing that is missing is a good set of pictures of the Dark Stone KR showing how the interior really goes with the exterior. I'm in Tulsa and cannot find this color option on the lots. Daveman had some great pictures showing how well the Copper matches the interior and Rock Pick's new pics were also good. I think everything goes with black! I currently own a white 02 Tundra Access Cab that I am going to give to my son (I know, he's spoiled - but he is a good kid). I'm not crazy about the white KR though. Tough decisions! I really like the dark Stone but (as other people have posted) am worried about the match.

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Chris! Welcome to f150online!

I think all of us are anxious to see some Dark Stone pictures with the Castano but, as of yet, I haven't seen any.

My salesman claims he had already sold one King Ranch prior to mine and it was a Dark Stone. It must have sold without it ever sitting out because I drive by my dealership nearly every day and never noted it but, of course, that doesn't mean it wasn't there and, certainly doesn't help our cause here huh?

None the less, I'll be on the look out in the immediate area to see if I can find one. I pack a digicam with me at all times so, hopefully, we'll have some pics soon either from me or from someone who took the 05 plunge.

Oh yes you have seen them too !!!!

That first KR I saw at my dealership was stone and I had several pictures of it and remember posting 2 or 3.

Unfortunately this time I left my laptop in the States for the first time ever, and most of them are on it there !

I will trawl through the old threads and see if I can find the ones I posted !!

Thanks for the pics! A full profile with both doors open would be nice also. It will take some time, but I'll bet somebody can get one. I'll sit and eat a snack while I wait.

I'm afraid you'll get very fat on snacks if you wait for me to retrieve them or take more...I won't be back Stateside until Mid Feb.

Actually I think the Castano will go very well with the Stone Color....But then most of us think Castano goes well with anything !!!

 

It's pretty hard to mess up... that's for sure.
