Picture of new 2005 King Ranch

Took some photos this morning.
Only got one on the Galley site. Have to work on this.

The message board wouldn't let me attach a pic.

So that's the green correct? It's a bit difficult to see with the shadow...

Do you have any other pictures?

That gallery will only let me put one up.

And here I get this message...

Any ideas ????

You need to start an album within your gallery. From there, you can further upload pictures.

So, in short, log in to your gallery by utilizing this link. Once inside and logged in, start an album. Then, you can choose to upload additional pictures.

Once uploaded, you can either point us to the link or post the pictures utilizing the (img) vBcode.

OK try again. I put the rest of the pictures in an Album.

I'll try and take some more in the "Bright Sun".

I have to tell you that is one beautiful truck. I have had mine now for a week and I am loving it. Aspen green with the arizona beige trim, wow! Absolute head turner for sure. Everyone is always putting thier face to the windows to look inside. The wife keeps trying to come up with excuses to drive it every chance she gets too.
So far, about 400 miles and the only thing that bugs me is the back end seems to be a bit bouncy at times. Still hate to get out of it every time I drive it.

Hey Fixer6! Welcome aboard and congrats on the new truck. It's rapidly looking like I'll be joining the 2005 ranks soon (hopefully).

You guys keep posting these 05 KR pics and I'm going to have to leave here and move to a Hyundai site or something... (although with only 42K on my 02 KR, I still love it and plan to drive it into the ground... just paid it off a couple weeks ago and it's nice not having that monthly bill anymore..!! )

That Aspen Green looks very sharp!!!

Yeah really Mike!

I think we're going to need to start a 12-step program and a support group...

This job situation thing is becoming long and drawn out... if I could get some answers, it'd make my decision on getting that black 05 a little easier...

Hello, I'm Rockpick and I want to buy a 2005 KR.

(in background) -- 'Hello Rockpick'.

RP - stop trying to convince yourself you need an 05 KR.... your truck is perfectly fine and you just spent some good $$ putting that tonneau on.... you get an 05 now and your job situation changes, they'll be sending out that repo guy "Dog" out to your house to get the truck back...

Wait until next Sept after things shake out and either get an 06 or work a good deal on an 05 on the lot.....

I went out last Sunday looking for a new 05 F-150 KR. Didn't go very far. Just hit the three dealerships in the local area. Not a single F-150 KR to be had. I found a F-250 Super Duty and a F-350 Dualie both in the new Copper color. Can't say I'm thrilled with it sitting side-by-side with the Chestnut.

With only 11,500 on my 02 KR Supercab after three years, I have even less reason to buy a new one than MikeF150. Still, I'd like to find one so I can drool all over it!

I'll keep looking. It's early yet. 2005 isn't even here so I've got lots of time to find one. That's when I'll see how much will power I've really got.

Keep the pictures coming. They look great.

Thanks for the welcome. I did all my searching of the dealerships on WWW.FordDirect.com to check inventories and as soon as one of them posted the first 3 in stock I was there that day. They had taken them off the transport that morning and hadn't even washed them yet. The black one was nasty looking dirty and having had a black truck years ago I quickly remembered what a pain it was to keep it clean. The white one was nice but the Aspen green and Arizona biege (green and gold) was "knock your socks off" beautiful. The combination of colors with the doors open is nothing less than spectacular! I quickly found myself uttering the words "I'll take that one" and called my bank. I picked it up 2 days later after they had gotten all the paperwork straight on thier end. Now after having had it for 8 days I think it's finnally setting in that I get to keep it and it not temporary. The truck is a real head turner (it sure ain't me) and I get compliments on it everywhere I go.
I kept the '93 excab for trips to the deer lease and such. With 338k on the 6 cyl. she still gets the job done too.

You're probably right Mike but, you know what it's like when the 'bug' bites. It hurts! I'm 100% with you on the 'need' thing... I'm far from needing it. It's a want.

Interestingly enough, I had an email this morning from someone asking about my topper that is fairly local... the plot thickens.

I'd get to meet 'Dog'? Hmm, there's some motivation. LOL!!! Where do I sign? HAHA!

GH99,

Very nice truck just picked mine up on the 18th. I love it I am looking back at it all the time. Even make extra trips by the front door so I can take a look at it.
