Question Possible Castano Replacement - Need Help

HI all, need some assistance please.

Was at the stealership for routine maintenance this morning and I pointed out that my two front seats and console lid seem to be fading outside of what would be considered normal. (I condition them religously with Lexol but am going to try Leather CPR based on what I have read here.)

The service advisor pointed it out to his manager and the manager agreed with me. So I have agreement at the dealer level which I know isn't much, but a start, so I am not going to get over excited yet. The mgr is making some calls this morning to look into things. The service advisor indicated verbally that they don't make the leather any more which by being a member here, (mostly a lurker not much of a poster), I know is a crock of $h!+. Don't forget I am in Canada so this may be a standard response. I am to call back later today to get an update.

So what I would like to ask in these hallowed halls is does anyone have the part numbers for the seat backs, seat bottoms and front console lid handy so when I make the call there won't be any excuses.

Thanks much
Canuck

I don't have part #'s but can tell you I have recently started using the leather CPR and it has brought back color of my front seats. In fact I just applied it for the first time to the drivers seat this moring and it looks great. I plan on following up with a lexol treatment since it still seems dry.

Good luck if you can get the dealer to replace them , but if not, that leather CPR might surprise you.

I have ordered some Leather CPR as well, and I hope I have good results with it. I started out using the KR conditioner, then switched to Lexol after reading everyone's opinion. The Lexol is alright, but I don't have any rave reviews about it. Mine are somewhat faded as well, but I haven't gone to the dealership about it. I doubt they would help me out anyway. Hope you have good luck with your seats!!

Is leather CPR available locally or just online?

The website www.leathercpr.com says that it's available at Restoration Hardware (which we used to have, but has since closed) and Walgreen's (which the ones I have been to have never heard of it). I think there's a couple of other places you can buy from, but I don't remember. So I ordered it directly from the website. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
