2005 King Ranch Pricing Now Available!

I hold in my hands an invoice for a 2005 King Ranch Edition SuperCrew courtesy of DAVEMAN.

4X4

BASE: $38985
DLR INV: 33983

It **DOES** appear to have power folding mirrors and it appears that they are specific to the King Ranch Edition (package 63K). The 63K package includes: KR Floor Mats, KR Run Boards, KR PWR Mirrors, 18" KR ALUM WHL, KR LTHR CPT (not sure what that is), LOWER two-tone.

Heated seats are shown as 'NC' indicating standard equip (NC-No Charge). Also, it lists the passenger seat as 'power' as well.

HOMELINK is optional for $120 Retail.

This one is listed as DARK STONE CC with ARIZ BEIGE ACNT.

THANKS DAVEMAN!

Wild guess, what about CPT being short for Captain, as in Captains chairs ???? Could be wrong though......

Say Davie, did you notice that Lenny was very calm and quiet about the information that I posted. You don't think he's already.... oh, nevermind. Surely not.

Beer? WhatchootalkinboutWillis...

Well, we'll just have to wait until around 10th September to find out, won't we ??!

PS Dave.....am I reading this line in your E mail correctly....

I had no idea you mentioned me in any threads nor did Rock. I think I’m going to order.........

It was dear RP that asked me if anyone had heard from Skagel after he posted that picture that you must have taken when you visited us in SPI ...I replied that I would get in touch with you, and lo and behold, the next day I have an E mail from you !

Telepathy or what ?!

PS RP owes everybody a drink !

(10.000 posts and all that.....I did warn him a long time ago that the only way to avoid a very expensive round of drinks was to stop posting...but he wouldn't listen !!

Okay Everybody,

You may already know this but since I've got it in front of me and it's in black and white from Ford, I'll repeat the info.

Here's what Ford says is included in the KR package order Code (63K):
-5.4L3V V8 w/4-speed auto transmission
-Unique King Ranch tailgate and fender badges
-18" 7-spoke aluminum wheels w/King Ranch paint treatment
-Unique King Ranch wheel ornaments
-Color coordinated H-bar grill
-Color coordinated box top and tailgate moldings
-Arizona Beige platform running boards
-Power fold, heated, signal mirrors (black) w/puddle lamp (exclusive to King Ranch)
-King Ranch leather captain's chairs (KW), including power/heated driver and passenger seats, memory driver seat, and manual; passenger lumbar
-Front flow-through console and floor shifter w/King Ranch leather kit
-2nd Row King Ranch leather flip-up 60/40 bench w/folding armrest
-Unique King Ranch floor mats (front/rear)
-Simulated woodgrain trim (IP center finish panel, ash tray, door trim)
-Unique exterior colors (see Color and Trim page for details) w/Arizona Beige lower two-tone

That's it and I tried to type it exactly as it shows in the order code package options page for 2005 F-150s.

I've also got a color chip card for 2005 but getting into that now will make me tired, whew. Besides, I think a KR in anything other than Chestnut or the new Dark Copper wouldn't apeal to me much but hey, different strokes for different folks.

RP, don't be giving out to many clues about car-byde, dat der is propiztitary inflamation.

Later,

~DM~

Great info Dave!

I am very upset to see that Ford didn't go with the PAINTED MIRROR CAPS but, I suppose that's something that could be done aftermarket (I'm just not a fan of the black mirrors -- they look cheap IMHO).

If the 60/40 is anything at all like what they're putting in the SuperDuty, I'll love it. The SD rear seats are PERFECT. I don't think the design could be made to work any better.

Wheel ornaments. I suppose that's the center cap? Maybe they're KR curb feelers!

Oh yeah, no more info to be mentioned on any vrrooom vrooom.

Boy this is going to be a painful couple of months for me. I love my truck and I couldn't justify several thousand $$$ for the leather but there is that nagging groan.

I cant wait to see the pics...I'll probably go sit in one just to tease myself some more...

The lariat is nice but the leather doesnt hold a candle to the KR.

When I'm ready to replace this one...if the KR is still around I'll be getting it then for sure.

Enjoy

Yikes. Quite a bit steeper than I remember mine being. Of course, mine's a 2001. I'll have to go drool, but no dice on replacing it. I just love mine too much as is.

Hey dufunnel,

It's been sometime hasn't it? Now, all you need is two rug rats around the same age and the KR with dual rear buckets would be cramping your style. That's what happened to me last year when the newborn was in our sights. Now the '05 KR will tote the young'ns with room for mom to ride in the back too.

BTW, I'll be in Orlando around the second week in September. Send me an email if you want to grab a beer or six. If I'm lucky, the new '05 might be close to delivery as they told me it could be as short as 5 weeks and if so I may postpone the Orlando trip to bring the new KR. However, it's probably a better idea to put the miles on the EB Expy that's up for sale, hehe.

Take Care and maybe we can talk later,

~DM~

HOMELINK is a visor mounted device that serves as your garage door opener and can be programmed to kick lights on in the house and such... I have it on my 01 and LoVe it... It saves the clutter of a garage door opener on the visor...

Oh yes, it also has a voice recorder built into it for a quick reminder or something of that nature (I think I've used that feature once (just to see if it worked)).
