Parts & Accessories for the KR Line

Having searched the 'net for the past few days, I find that there is a lack of specialty stores dealing in King Ranch parts and accessories. Most places don't even list the KR as an option to select.

For those of you who have owned longer than me (not quite a month now), can you please direct me to those sites that you have selected in your Favorites folder.

Thanks in advance.

I go to www.krsaddleshop.com for my KR personal accessories. As far as for the truck, its what I can get from the Ford dealer where my Dad works and from eBay. As you probably already know, most mods for the standard F150 Series are interchangable with ours. The beige mudflaps, bedliner, and floormats are available at Ford, the bedcover is a tough find I am told. I just installed a 2002 KR tailgate badge which took about 2 weeks to get from Ford.

There is currently a great 1/18 diecast out of a KR. Just got it yesterday, very cool.

For the truck, mine just received a set of 4 Powerslot rotors last week, and will get a Corsa exhaust within the next 2 weeks or so. As far as accessories and the like, we are in pretty good shape with our KR. Hope this helps.

I share your concerns...

There seem to be a lot of options for the Lightning and, to a lesser extent, the HD. I've chosen to limit my mods to those things that improve my ride without changing the appearance too drastically. I've acetoned the badges, put on mud guards and door-edge guards, added a tailgate lock (electric) and painted the tailgate handle. I've also added a backup camera and had the bed sprayed with LineX. Although I've added Altezza tails and clear corners, I've steered away from body mods that would make my KR look less like a KR and more like something else. If I wanted my truck to look like something else, I would have bought something else.

I'm starting to think that I'm going to have to look for things that are representative of Texas and the southwest, since that's where the King Ranch is located. I may also have to get inspired and create something unique.

Sorry I couldn't give you more info. Good Luck! If you find some neat stuff please let us know.

Dave...

There were several Ford/King Ranch specific items that were available at one time; including a tonneau, mud flaps that were beige, and maybe one or two other things. Overall however, King Ranch Ford Truck items were few and far and not any where near on the scale as a Harley.

The krsaddleshop.com is a good source for some VERY nice items but, be prepared, they don't come wallet-friendly.
