Talking Howdy

Hello - I just recently purchased a 2003 King Ranch and have fallen madly in love with it.... ha, ha!

Found this forum and was glad to see that I did not need psychiatric ....

Have read many many threads and taken a crash course in the care of my new baby.

Glad this forum is around - and look forward to learning more about the KR as time goes by.

Welcome...and I see you live in one of my favorite cities.

I think I now know S.A. as well as most cities here in the UK...
especially North 281 to my 'restaurant of the moment'....
"Do Brazilia".

Won't be back there until September but looking forward to it already !

Enjoy the forum...we need a female presence here....Skagel !!
Are you watching !!!!

Cheers

Lenny

Hi Back !!

Yes...4/5 months down in the Rio Grande near Port Isabel, and the rest of the time back home in the UK about 30 minutes from the Welsh Borders.

If you wondered about the reference to Skagel, she was our only regular lady contributor.
We met when she and Daveman (Are you there mate ?) came all the way down from 'up north' to visit the saddleshop and then came as far south as you can get without falling into Mexico !

I think Sarah (Skagel) has recently moved to Houston and is probably too busy to get onto the forum !

PS I miss correcting her awful spelling so if you can make some mistakes I will feel at home with you !!!

Lenny,

LOL look forward to meeting Skagel.

I will try to make some errors in my spelling to keep you busy...lol

It is however - a pet peeve of mine (I hate to mispell things!!)

Guess I will just get over it....lol of corse (lol) now that I am aware of it - I can not think of anything to mispell lol

This is me when I think of my new KR - I love it!!

Welcome to the KR family. I know you'll love your KR as much as we do ours. They're quite a vehicle for a truck!

You mean we're supposed to talk trucks here? Since when?!?

LOL!

You see Lady0Texas (LT for short from here on out if that's okay with you?), we have a very strong tendency to drift off course with topic talk and general discussion. For example, a typical thread about leather conditioner will drift from conditioning, to the state of the economy, to making fun of Lenny for having a mid-life crisis of sorts, to poking fun at me for god only knows what, and then make it, full-circle, back to conditioning. It's really strange how some things migrate to and fro within these walls.

Don't consider it to be intentional misguiding of a thread (as I've never seen that occur); it's just our way of communicating as one big KR family. Welcome to our family.
