Just want to say Hello
Hi everyone. I have been a King Ranch owner for about 4 months now and I must say that I love this truck! I'm an active member of the "other" Ford truck site but I am really looking to be a part of something more dedicated to the King Ranch than the other site was. I have been browsing the threads for a while just to get the feel of things around here and I finally decided to speak up. Soooo Hello
here is a pic of my truck

As you can see I have had the mod bug hit me in the past 4 months
I have a 3" body lift and 315/75/16 BFG muds in case you were wondering

That's a nice looking KR! I've given some thought to a slight lift and I think the body lift is the way to go. I don't do any off- roading outside of the dirt driveway at my inlaws lake house so I don't need to be up in the clouds. I just want my KR to sit slightly higher and put slightly larger tires on it. Nothing drastic. And I think your set up is exactly the way to go. I've seen similar set ups on other F-150s and have always like the way it looks.
By the way, what happened to your KR rims? I see you've got 16" rims instead of the standard 17".

Thanks Chestnut!
With 35's on 16x10s I had to crank my Tbars to get them to fit up front. I shaved the valence a little just to be sure that I don't ruin it when off roading. I have seen 33's on truck with a 3" body lift and it looks good as well and you dont have to worry about rubbing. I have seen people put 35's on the stock rims (even though it is not recommended) and it looks great also.
I went with 16x10 in rims because I got these for 125 a piece from 4wheelparts.com with free shipping. I found a buyer for my 17x7.5 KR rims the very day I put my body lift on so I didn't even have to haul them home. I sold them for 500$ with the stock tires. I was kinda hesitant to get rid of them, but I am glad I did it since I have no where to store them. There is also a wider selection of tires available for 16's
