What to use to clean King Ranch leather?
Okay, i have heard that armorall leather wipes are bad for the KR seats because they contain silicon. What other products can i use to condition my leather w/out drying it out in the long run?
This thread has been beaten into the groups so you know. Some of us use Lexol, some use what the KR Saddleshop sells and what Ford used to give out with you bought a KR from them. It's all on what you find works best for you. I personally use Lexol.

It won't give you a definative answer on what to use, rather it gives opinions and experiences of other members.

Hello xxplosive and welcome to f150online.com. The #1 home for late model F-Series trucks and home of the International King Ranch Ford Truck Owners Club (KROC). We're glad to have you aboard.
As many have mentioned, the leather cleaning question has been discussed with great detail. These discussions have talked about everything from utilizing baby wash to deal with some of the more problem areas (like the steering wheel) all the way down to just simple hot water.
From a CLEANING standpoint, I wouldn't recommend Lexol's pH Balanced Cleaner (orange bottle). Three or four of us have had a really bad experience with it (two of us had steering wheels replaced post Lexol Cleaner).
To date, the best thing I've found is a clean 100% cotton terry towel soaked in very hot water. Wipe the seats down to remove all surficial dirt and open the pores with the heat. I follow with Eagle Ottowa's Leather Cleaner (formerly available at Wally-Hell) and follow the directions to the 'T'. Once the leather is partially dry, I condition with Lexol's Conditioner (Brown bottle).
That's my technique and, as you can imagine, all of us have a preferred method that we've found to be the 'best'.
Some like Leather Master products. Some like Lexol. Some like the KR Saddle Shop Conditioner. Some like Fiebings 4-Way. Some simply neglect the heck out of their seats and say screw it. LOL!
Whichever way you go, you'll find someone here that has probably given it a whirl and has provided some 'back-up' examples of their work and how it fared.
Feel free to ask additional questions about this topic and I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction... also, be sure to search on your topic or question... we have volumes of information within the King Ranch forums walls...
