Chestnut's in the house but like a lot of others, have been extremely busy the last two weeks. I've checked the threads a couple of times but not much time for anything else.

Hope everyone is doing well and surviving winter. Not too bad in my part of Virginia but I know others are having a rough time of it. Hang in there. Spring will get here.

You should see the snow we are getting up here in Alberta, I wish I had my digital cam at home here. My Lightning is in the driveway and has about a foot of snow on it and it is -20 C. I got some tax sh*t to do and some small fires to put out in the next 2-3 weks then I' am GONZO to Phoenix. Hope to meet some of you while I'am down there, as I'am going to be getting together with some of the guys from AZLOC (Arizona Lightning owners club)

Here! Just checked the board and saw this post. Figured I'd better check in. Alive and kickin' in Northern IL. Cold, but alive and kickin'. Truck is filthy. Went into Chi-town yesterday and ran into some snow. Highways were rather dirty. KR needs a good bath. Later all.

It's great to see some of the old names roaming around... also nice to see so many new faces.

I know I've had a bunch of new registrations for the King Ranch Owners Club... many of which haven't been active in the least on the boards...

Come on newbies... where are you? Did you just register with hopes of getting a freebie?

BTW, I did get an update on the 'opportunity' that I mentioned in an earlier thread... they are still thinking it through. Also, it appears that we'll have a 'discount code' from the King Ranch Saddle Shop in the VERY VERY VERY near future.

You mean to tell me that there's more to life than work? Damn!!! LOL!

I'm with ya coop... that seems to be all I do as well. I had 63 hours last week and 65 the week before. 15 hour days SUCK! Especially when you don't get OT... Salary doesn't have any benefits when you work this many hours...

Talking Roll Call !!! ?

K-O-R here , although the wife would say I wasn't.
Trying to pick up the OT now, so I can send some time in
South Padre Island this summer.
Oh BTW, don't know if everyone is getting this, but there is a spam virius going round from a spoof "PayPal.com" that says your account is about to run out, and the application attached must be ran.
Don't fall for it. If you do get it , just forward it to spoof@paypal.com
then delete it.
Best of Luck

Yo, I've been very busy too working and building my premium tilt bed utility trailer and other stuff. Also dodging the cold and sometimes rainy days to try and get my project list shortened. I know I'm not an active member any longer but my heart is still with the King Ranch, I'm starting to miss it alot these days. I'm just not the SUV type after all and I'm sure I'll get another truck one day but I'm just not very exited about the new body style, too much sheet metal for me at this time and besides, I've got valid reasons to have the SUV.

Later,

~DM~

I still read everyday.

SAD NOTE:

I am giving up my 2001 SCREW 4X4 King RANCH.

The really sad note I am getting a 2005 Chevy SSR

Our track has signed a multiyear agreement with Chevy so we all recieve our pick of the new 20 Vehicles that Chevy is launching in the next year and a half.

The way I look at it is, NO PAYMENTS, INSURANCE, OR UPKEEP COSTS.

I still will read everyday.
