Hey guys...

I bought this tonneau from taco and I'm not sure I like the way it looks. With that in mind, I'm going to sell it as well.

Please note, when I recieved the tonneau, it was faded in some areas. The fading isn't ultra-obvious but, it can be noticed if you're standing immediately upon the tonneau...

Also, I should note that the KR emblem on the tonneau has a few rub marks that are somewhat noticeable. Of course, you all know I'm pretty much a perfectionist when it comes to items of this nature and thus, that's why I'm going to sell it. I didn't realize that the fades existed on the tonneau initially... Also, I was never able to locate installation instructions but, after giving it a few looks, I don't think it'll be very tough.

So, with that in mind, I thought I'd offer this up to you guys first as well. Taco was kind enough to offer it up to us prior to listing it on ebay and I'm going to do the same. If I haven't recieved an acceptable offer by Friday the 23rd of Jan, I'm going to list it on ebay and see what it'll fetch.

Please make me an offer. I have mutitudes of pictures available and all hardware is included.

Here's a couple of pictures....

Note the greying along the bottom left and sides.

Note the KR emblem beneath EST.... that's what the 'rubs' look like. Basically a lack of color in the emblem in a few places. It's really not bad and I think it could be touched with something to make it look nearly unnoticeable unless you're looking directly at it.

Again, note the greying along the edge. This is about as bad as it gets thus, if you can handle that (and I'm sure many could), in my opinion, this is about the worst spot. It's along the side nearest the cab.

Again, I want to empahsize that I bought it this way about a week and a half ago and didn't realize it was faded. It's not new. I'd score it a 'moderately good' on a scale of poor to excellent. There are no tears, visible scuffs, or rips whatsoever.

I have a hunch that a good upholstry shop could make the fading go away with some simplicity. I didn't obtain a quote to do this but I've been told that it's a simple process and doesn't require much effort.

Please contact me at kingranch@hotmail.com with questions.

UPDATE:

The tonneau is not faded. It actually has grey paint overspray on it. I'm working to remove the paint but, it's going to be a lengthy process.

I'll update as more information becomes available. As for now, the tonneau isn't for sale.
