Angry Rear KR badge

Just a few questions, since I bought my 01 screw KR used I don't know what it came with vs. what is on it now.
IT either did not have a rear badge or it is now gone.
And there is also no trace of it being a 4x4, by either the decal or on the badge. I know the badges say it is a F150 / 250 but...
So here are the questions.................
One.. where all 01' equipt with the left, right and rear badges?
Two.. where can I order another one for the rear?
Three.. Do the badges state if the truck is a 4x4?
Four.... Was there or is there a front badge (made not mod) to go in place of the Ford badge?

On the early (01) KR's, there was no KR badge on the rear.

Some of us bought spare badges from E bay and put them on the back.

(In fact there are some very naughty people who have done it on trucks other than KR's too. (Ahem !) )

On the front there were again some of us (well just me actually, )who replaced the Ford Logo with a KR badge with the F150 bit cut off.

But I did mount it on a billet grill so I did not have to get rid of the Ford Oval.

The pics may still be lurking in my gallery....I will look when I have a mo' but you can also look if you wish.

The KR badges still regularly turn up on E bay !

Lenny is right on with the early 2001's not having a KR badge on the gate... Mine didn't have one until about 1.5 years ago...

Be careful though, 99.9% of the badges that I've seen on ebay ARE NOT tailgate badges. They are the fender badges which are thicker...

I'll do a little searching for the acutual tailgate badge part number (as we've discussed this exact topic several times on the boards)... I bought one from www.fordpartsnetwork (torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com - tell him Rockpick sent ya). I think it was like $20 or something... not expensive.

Part Number: 2L3Z-1842528-AAA $25.99 from FPN I believe

Here's a thread about it...

On the 4X4 thing, I know that they had the 4X4 decal on the side... I remember Daveman's truck distinctivly having the decals on the bed.

Not sure on the part number there but, again, Torrie can help you out with that if you really want them. Those shouldn't be too expensive either.

Oh yeah, I should mention as well, if you're interested in a FENDER badge, I have an extra one laying around the house somewhere that I'd sell. Just FYI.

Question badges

Thanks, guys.

I just sent off an email to Torrie about the parts in question.

I will be trying to do a mod myself, in the fashion on Lenny,
(i.e. the the front badge applied to the punch plate of the grill guard without removing the Ford oval)
In doing so , would it be better to use
1) The tailgate badge(no cutting) or
2) The fender badge (thicker)?????

Hmmmm.......

RP,
Give me a few days, to see what Torrie can do for me. I may indeed want the Badge from you.
Thanks again.
