Unhappy Nerf Bars for King Ranch

I recently had the unfortunate experience of breaking a bracket (courtesy light) on the center of my right side nerf bar on my new King Ranch. Looking to find one possibly from a wreck or takeoff, since the dealer is INSANE as far as replacement price. any ideas....Please.

Yah, take it to two or three or four other Ford dealers and tell them it needs to be fixed under warranty and that it was like that when you got it or something like that. If you yell enough they will take care of you!!!!!

This thread gives me an opportunity to ask y'all another question. (Remember, my King is less than a week old, so I'm learning). Has anyone had any problems with their Nerf bars as far as support, breaking, losening, etc.? I'll put some good pressure on mine. I'm a big ol' ex-football player, 6'2", 290lbs. I hope that the daily weight on the bar won't eventually cause problems. Any feedback?

Yes, they should handle the weight, but then again, I would use that as an excuse at the dealer and say that it must have not been installed or was a weak part that broke.
