Surely that would be real treachery...unless she kept the KR as well of course !
A slick ploy to divert attention from yourself no doubt! Leave Skagel out of this!

Well, it was only a matter of time before one of us took the bait. I'm think trading in myself-but only if I can get a "seat squab". I don't really know what it is, but I can brag to my Dodge-driving buddies that it tilts back.
I'm sure that you will be happy with your new truck Len, but will come dragging back asking for forgiveness next model year!!

Lenny,

Don' t sweat the small stuff. My King Ranch was recently replaced by another Lightning. Look at it this way, We are all from the same mold. We must have the newest and greatest toys. Heck, When the 04 King Ranch is here Metro Ford has me on the list for the first one. Afterall, between Me and my company (sold now) I bought 11 trucks from them the past year.

hey lent (or is it lint)...

after you've had your new truck for awhile, give us some feedback. likes/dislikes...etc. would be very helpful to those of us thinking about a new truck in the next year or so...

Lint ??!

Okey Dokey.....will do.

Spent a restless night wondering if I've done the right thing.

We do love our KR....BUT time moves on and a lot of the points raised against the 04 on the various forums are actually superficial cosmetic things that can be addressed either by Ford with future revisions or indeed by owners themselves.

I think most of the improvements are under the skin and judging by the comments in Auto Mags etc. the base chassis and mechanics are a big leap forward over the previous models.....so I am reassuring myself with that !!

yeah, most of my "concerns" about the '04 are purely cosmetic. the truck does indeed feel solid and it's quiet...

would have been nice if ford were able to get some more ponies out of the new 5.4l...but life goes on.

enjoy and don't fret the purchase...
