The KR stuff is decent...

Lexol is decent...

Fiebings is decent...

Connolley (sp), I hear, is decent...

Everyone here has a preference... mine is Lexol. It's cheaper than the KR stuff and easier to come by... does just as good in my opinion as well...

Do a search inside the King Ranch forum (use the field at the bottom of the page you're looking at) and type in conditioner, or lexol, or fiebings, or something like that... you'll get MUCHO hits.

Welcome to f150online.com!!

OK, I've tried them all and here's my take on this. BTW this topic has been discussed at length before so you may not get many responses.
I've used: Lexol, Fiebings, Leather CPR and the Ford KR stuff.
After I just had my front seat cover replaced, I'm back using the Ford KR stuff. The upright part of my front seats faded pretty badly. I think that it happend while the truck was on the lot prior to purchase, but who knows. My hope is the the Ford KR stuff is more UV resistant than the other products, and if it isn't I can go back to the dealer and tell them that I used the recommended product religiously and I still had problems. It's spendy, about $9 a bottle plus shipping, but don't get cheap now, you just bought a $35000 pickup!

That my take, your milage may vary.

Used McGuire's Leather Cleaner first, then the Ford KR Conditioner. Seats looked and felt great. Applied with hands only, used cloth to wipe later on, in case any excess left.
My wife was happy with results, and the KR got an extra 3 mpg on the road trip!
Well, my wife was happy anyway.

Sorry to beat a dead horse....

Thanks for your patience. I tried McGwire's cleaner and conditioner but quickly realized this isn't sufficiently conditioning the thirsty front seats.

Thanks for the welcome and suggestions all...

What type of Lexol are you all using? I figured since this is pretty much saddle leather I would use that type but there are several types to choose from. Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge, there's only one type of Lexol.

It comes in a brown plastic bottle and is available at SEVERAL stores...

chris4d,

Hello and welcome to the forum. I use the real McCoy and nothing else, there is no reason to try anything else because it works fine and besides that is what is recommended by KR and Ford.

My $9.00 worth

Later,
