my advice is this;
Look at you owners manual page #4 under INTRODUCTION/SPECIAL NOTICES/SNOW PLOWING
F150 SuperCrew F150 5.4L Supercharged "Lightning" and Harley-Davidson F-150 Owners: Snowplowing
Your vehicle is not recommended for snowplowing. Ford makes no representation as to the suitability of your vehicle for snowplowing, in particular regarding the potential for exceeding vehicle weight limits, air bag (SRS) deployment sensitivty, vehicle crash integrity, or powertrain durability. The Snowplow Package Option is not available.

You might also want to take a gander at pages 182 to 184.
My owner's manual is in the truck but I think this is the right information contained.

Again just my advice, of course you can desregard this advice if your warranty is up.

I understand that, however i have a KR 4x4 and its suspension is no different then that of the Lariat or any other 4x4 for that matter....

mr green jeans....it has something to do with our supercrews not the KR package itself....

I would pay to see a snow plow on a lightning. ROTFLMAO!

I might be wrong but the supercrews are heavier than a regular F150. So the weight of the plow would probably put you over the recommended total weight for the vehicle and accessories. If your under warranty than you might be given a hard time if you have to take it in for work.

Thanks Skagel for adding that in there for me.

Mr Green Jeans,
I was/am under the impression that you have a Supercrew. I believe that a plow would work fine on an extended cab though.
