RP,
I'v been soo busy that I forgot to let you know that I did receive the shirts and sticker. Thank you and I am proudly displaying the shirt, along with the hat, and of course the truck at a Geothermal field that is basically in my back yardabout 4 miles from my house. I see it every day from a distance and when the wind is blowing just right (or wrong) you can smell the sulfer that it releases from the Earth. Pretty dog gone cool if you ask me.

Gotta love that sulfur smell... Just like Yellowstone National Park if you've ever been there. Another cool picture though!!

Boiling mud and geisers get really old if you visit Yellowstone... then again, I'm a geologist that understands it... kinda. LOL!

This is a quaint little waterfall that we saw on our way to a Glacier.
The waterfall is called seljalandsfoss (sell yalandz foss). You can walk behind it but bring a raincoat cause you will get soaked.

and this is a small section of a glacier named Eyjafjallajokull
(eye yaf yalla yokol). The outside temp at the base of this thing was 58 degrees F. It melts at the very bottom which you can see and turns into a fast flowing river that I was too chicken to cross.

Q: Why didn't the chicken cross the river?

A: Because he didn't want to get his King rancH stuck.

AWESOME PICS!!!

The waterfall reminds me of driving up the Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington State.

Tiny little glacier... really neat though!

Don't worry, I wouldn't have driven my KR through that either... yeah yeah yeah... it's wussy 4X2... LOL!

King at Glacier Bay, Iceland. We were furtunate enough to see seals swimming amongst the Icebergs when we were there. The Icebergs break off of the Vatnajokull (vatna yokol) Glacier and float around crushing each other till they are small enough to float out to sea.

Vatnajokull (vatna yokol) Glacier. This is one of many fingers that jet out from the Glacier. This glacier takes up about 1/8 of the entire country. Believe it or not this thing is a 6 hour drive from the Naval Air Station where I live.

This is Skogarfoss. We camped there for Labor day weekend. To give you an idea of how big this thing is......the truck is parked a quarter of a mile away. Hiking to the top was awesome!!

Hope you enjoy the pix as much as I enjoy taking them.

Sarman,

Ford can't even make sales photos that good. Man, those pics could make a killer King Ranch sales brochure. Hell, I'd buy a truck just in the hopes that I'd find myself where those pics were taken. Great shots, and I agree with Joe and everyone else, keep them coming. I'm so envyous... I hope you have just as good luck with your next photo op.

Later,

~DM~
