Hey KR Owners, Any Boat Experts Lurking Out There?
Mike,
I knew someone was going to twist my words around to sound like I was drinking and operating the boat
. Actually, we did have a few beers in the cooler but we never got comfortable enough to break one open until after we loaded the boat onto the trailer and pulled away from the ramp
. As for flushing, I know it's very important but when I got home it was pooring down rain and I didn't get a chance to even unload the cooler, that will have to wait for this afternoon.
As for the trailer backing, I had my tailgate lowered but I have that toolbox and with that the tailgate makes no difference. The flags sound like a good idea and I noticed that most everyone else has 4' to 6' PVC poles with trailer lights attached for helping with backing as well as getting the brake lights up where everyone can see them and not run into the back of the precious engine/propeller.
On the boat mods, there's no worry, the wallet is empty so that part is well taken care of, hehehe.
Thanks for the link to the flushing device but I haven't had time to look at it as of yet.
BTW, I joined the continuous wave forum under the username "JD Montauk", thanks again Mike for all your help.
I apologize to any KR members who don't appreciate me busting in with non KR truck issues or good info but I do like having online friends to share my goodies and trials and tribulations with, that's invaluable to me and hopefully someone else benefits in some way.
Later,
~DM~
