King Ranch 2003 help

Hi guys, I'm a happy owner of a 2001 F150 Supercab Sport, called "lobo" in Mexico, and I would like to buy a 2003 King Ranch, the point is that in two months it will arrive to Mexico the 2004 F150, so should I wait for it or buy the KR, I den't really like a lot the 2004, but it's newer, so please KR owners, I'll appreciate if you help me to decide based in your experience with the KR.
P.D. I've read in this forum that no 2004 KR will be availabe?
Thanks.

first, where in Mexico are you at? I lived in Hermosillo, Sonora for a while....great food, but to hot for me.

IMO the KR is the absolute greatest truck out there...I would have never bought a truck if it wasn't for the leather....if you can hold out there are rumors of the KR availability late '04.

good luck and I early welcome to our club.

The King Ranch is obviously loved by the majority of the folks that frequent our fourm but, the overall answer to your question falls on your shoulders.

If you like the current body style (pre-04) and really think that it's the truck for you, I'd go ahead and do it.

Like Skagel mentioned, it appears that there are some rumors floating around that the KR might be available late in the 04 model year but, nothing has been confirmed nor denied.

The choice is yours... You're going to love it either way.

RP is so completely correct in that you will love this truck either way....I swore up and down that I would never own a truck and that I hated trucks, but the moment I looked in the window of a KR I fell to my knees in love....I still consider myself more of a Jaguar XK8 type personality, but let's face it the Jag uses crapy leather in comparison to the KR.

Welcome to the KR forum campamex. I would go for the 2003 King Ranch. I drove by Prestige Ford in Garland, Texas this morning and saw a 2004 F150 Super Cab setting in front of the stealership and IMHO it was "UGLY". I also think the interior is too "space age" looking.

Maybe the new body style will grow on me . This is just my biased opinion since I own a 2003 KR.

A Lady after my own heart, IMHO gimme 200k for a car and Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston etc away, I want one of these:

I'd find something to spend the change on

Now if they just used Castano....

Thank you very much guys for your comments, I think I'm going to decide for the 2003 KR, the olive green one, when I got it, ( 2 weeks from now ), I'll post some photos of it.

Skagel,

Are you in the habit of falling to your knees when you are in love?
Of course, that's none of my business, but I was wondering.

Just kidding - couldn't resist,
