Its lovely here !
Wont be posting too much for a while.
Its our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we are on the Portuguese Island of Madeira.
Fabulous climate, superb food, and of course Madeira wine.....which was the main cause of me getting together with the wife over 25 years ago !
Roads are tortuous and narrow to say the least. Renting a Toyota Yaris is a bit of a come down from my usual steeds !

Ironically, the wifey and I just celebrated our 2nd aniversary yesterday... we didn't travel to celebrate unless you consider a trip to the local Italian restaraunt a vacation...hehehehe

And I dont think you would want that particular model either !
Very small and underpowered for the twisty and tortuous roads here !
At least it gets through the narrow gaps as construction trucks come hurtling down some of the most precipitous roads I have ever seen.
I have got my digital camera with me but am using the hotel lobby internet connection so cant upload anything.
Will post pics when I get back possibly.

VW Passat...you surprise me !
I consider that a totally bland rather boring piece of automotive creation compared with all the choices you could have.
But then I am anti VW having been the force behind the taking away of Bentley from British ownership !
