Pickups and Guns....

You know, I've seen several posts regarding firearms on this forum and I was just wondering. How many of ya'll think, plain and simple, Pickups and guns go together? (raising his hand) says "count me in".

I "only" own four.

S&W model 686 .357
Ruger P89 9mm, ( with several 15 round magazines by the way)
Rossi .38 stainless, (makes a good carry gun)
and, my first ever gun from when I was a kid,
El Cheapo 20 gauge single shot shotgun.

Anyway, on any given day you can find a minimum of 1000 rounds or more in my home. The 9 stays at my bedside with a 15 rounder installed, nothing chambered, but ready to be. That sound would scare somebody I believe. i would not suggest entering my home without my permission! It would "make my day"!

So, any roll calls on this subject?

I have a Glock 23, .40 caliber, compact. I like it, have only had it for a couple months, but it's real nice.

Let's put it this way. If I wanted to take all my guns across town, I'd need to trade my Supercrew in for a long bed.

Had to read the thread title a couple of times...

Thought it said 'Rockpicks and Guns'. LOL!

I was getting ready to chime in and say that I have an Estwing pick, Estwing crack hammer, and a 32 oz. / 15.25 inch Vaughan pick.

The Vaughan kicks the Estwing hammer's butt too! Much more solid...

Oh yeah, it was pickups and guns... sorry. LOL!

Ahh, the many times I have wished I had a gun in my truck with all the idiot drivers here in Orlando. I have had people get out of their cars to confront me, and I just wished I could reach in the glovebox and pull out my gun to make them turn around and get back in their car. I can always dream...

oh dear lord a gun thread in the King Ranch forum..... I am in heaven.

I will start with the 22's
Ruger single six ---stainless of course
S&W model 41---the best darn 22 I have ever shot
sig sauer Trailside---this one is just pretty and matches the truck

9mm
sig sauer 228 compact---fits great in the hand, but I hate the recoil even with my reloads

357's
S&W model 13-3 K frame square butt---they don't make this one anymore, but it is polished nickel...it is just pretty.
sig 229 stainles w/compensator---this is a 357sig load...acurate like a 9mm, but the kick of a 357...it is just a hand orgasam

45's
HK match edition----they don't make this one anymore either...it has a weighted compensator which makes the gun weigh 5#'s(no not literally)it kicks like a 22....it is just mean looking.
springfield 1911 fullsize stainless---this one is my pride and joy...he has many mods including some gorgeous pacmeir rosewood grips

I know I am missing a bunch, but these are the ones I shoot regularly.....and as for the gun mods....let's just put it to ya this way...I mod my guns like I mod my truck.

oh and I blame all of this on my brother for giving to me on my 21'st birthday a S&W model 66 k frame square butt
