What your seats will look like after 42K miles !

This KR is up for sale on EBay.
Just looks like a regular truck that has had regular treatment.
Click on photo of drivers seat....not particularly bad but I guess it hasn't had regular feeding with some sort of leather conditioner.

Precisely my point...

That is why I did not purchase a KR down here in South Texas. The heat and extremes that we have here are just too much to really necessitate the extra expense of leather and that's not even mentioning the burn you got on your butt factor...

Later on,

What the heck is that yellow business on the seat belt latch????????

Mine frankly don't look much better after 27,000 miles and they aren't exactly neglected. I am not fanatical about conditioning but have used it a few times. the lightening of the left side bolster happened very early on. Conditioner darkens it some but not for long. I have a connection at ford that will help me if it gets too bad....i may give her a call. I don't mind the "broken in" look too much but hope it doesn'r get worse. I plan to keep the truck a while...but then again I plan to keep most stuff I buy but rarely have had a vehicle for more than 2 years .....we'll see.

logical - I think the yellow thing is a warning sticker of sorts that comes on them from the factory. Really goes to show how often the seat belts were used huh? HA!

Skagel - you name the time and the place and we'll be on our way. We must help those in need.

I actually went and inspected the truck. My neighbor who really wants a KR and can't unload the new beetle, wanted to buy it. The seats needed some help. The yellow sticker is like what you get from a new truck and a lot of used car dealers are sticking them on vehicle to make it look like it is newer than it really is. I am seeing this more and more. Just like some used car dealers are putting that plastic film on the carpets like it just rolled off the factory line. She had the bank ready to transfer the funds and then boom, someone else did the buy it now. I think it was a good deal!!!
