White KR Value??
White KR Value??
I read an article last night on the new F-150s, sounds like Ford is going to hike the price at least $2,000 on the trucks. As for myself, I don't like the look of the new interior. It's going to be interesting to see what the 04 King Ranch is going to look like inside and out.
This got me to thinking, with this the first year for the White King Ranch and with the intro of a re-designed model, that would make trucks like mine a very limited production---wonder if that would help with the value of the truck later on??
I just installed another "mod" on my truck today, a K&N air filter. I don't know if it will help gas mileage that much, but I'm going to squeeze every dime away from the Arabs that I possibly can.

ROTFLMAO@MIKE but I must agree you don't buy one of these babies to conserve gas.....you buy a hyundai that gets 38 MPG stock.
but I agreee you already have the truck do what you can to save on gas.....use synthetic oil too.....Amsoil is one of the few that makes a 5W20 fully synthetic...and it is made in the USA

Jayhawker, I have been keeping my KR in an offsite storage garage cause I would like to keep it as a collector. I have 4000 miles on it already and that is too many for me. I have enjoyed the truck so much I couldn't resist driving it. I am going to a truck club meeting this weekend in Garland and will take her out to show off, also the storage garage also means I can afford to eat during the week as gas is horrible!
Where is the truck club meeting in Garland, Damon? I might be interested in joining.
I've had my truck since Dec. 12 and only have 550 miles on it. We drove it down to Alverado last weekend to a Team Roping event, the first time I've had it on the road. My truck will fit in my garage, but we can't get in or out the door between the kitchen and the garage so I purchased a fitted cover from Earl Owen Co. and will keep it covered up this summer when I'm not driving it.
I bought my truck so I could have a nice, paid for vehicle to drive when I retire in 3 1/2 years so I'm saving it as much as I can and with the price of fuel it's cheaper to drive the VW. I did get almost 18 mpg on the last tank, better than expected.

A cover, how much do you mind me asking? I like Earl Owen Co. good place to get some stuff. I would need a special made one for my truck as I have that brush guard and topper. There is a truck cover on ebay for a Supercrew at 100.00 new. Too, bad it won't fit mine though.
The cover cost me $206.00 with shipping, it's made by Covercraft, guaranteed for 4 years. My cover is made for trucks with no exterior mods. They have to special order them and it took about 4 days to receive the cover.
You could call Earl Owen and ask them if they make them to fit trucks with the grill guard, etc. I talked to a guy named Tommy. If you want to get a BedRug for your truck, this is where I got mine, they are $100.00 less than DFW Camper Corral sells them for, around $230.00.
