Ok we have had the KR for several months, and are now going for our first mod. I can hear all the laughs now. Maybe should have done some mods sooner but... Money needed to be spent on upgrading the brewery, new motor bike stuff ect.
So the ? is what bug shield do you all recommened ? I have been told to stay away from the ones with the little plastic buttons. Due to the marks that they leave on the paint. The one I have seen is thicker than some and has two brackets for mounting. Thanks for your advice.

well, that all depends on your taste and style you want to have for your truck. I like stainless steel and have modded my Tomas in such a way and have a stainless steel bug deflector.....others have purchased clear ones and painted them to match.....If I wasn't so obsessed with the stainless look I would have to go for the color matched deflector.
just my opinion....after all I am a chick and have excellent taste.

Hi 1shot1kill,
I went with the Lund Interceptor painted to match my Chestnut KR. The match is perfect and it stands up high enough to wash the front of the hood without a problem. I'm glad I went for the extra expense for the painted version. Sorry, no pictures as of yet - it snowed this entire winter.
