I have a question ......

Years ago....more than 20 !.....when we first started visiting the States, I used to admire some of the graphics in the back windows of pickup trucks....you know....soaring eagles, mountain vistas and the like.
Then we noticed they disappeared. Did they go out of fashion or we wondered if there was a legal issue to do with vision ?
Now in this months "Truckin'" mag a company at
www.stylinconcepts.com
is advertising a whole range.
What's the story.....or are they not the "done thing".
It's just that there's a great one of the Texas State Flag I would like to get the next time we are back.
Incidentally for the regulars I am writing this in the lounge at Philly airport...we are having to go home a month early as my mom is very ill back home.

Ahh, Philly. Home of a great sandwich... LOL... I hate that airport. Talk about a madhouse.

As for the rear window thingamajigs. I've noticed them a little more often but, still, not very often.

It's not exactly my cup o' tea but, I guess if you like it and it floats your boat... ALL ENGINES AHEAD FULL...

Take care Lenny. Have a good flight and good luck with your mother. I wish you all the best.

Excommunicated... well, probably not. Voted off the island and forced to eat worms to survive... maybe.

I gave my opinion in an earlier post before I started singing about the Big Yellow. It's not my cup o' tea but, it's your truck, if it floats your boat, go for it.

I'd probably have to sabatoge the ship if it were my boat though...

I answer only the questions that I know.... I have completed that portion of my mission... you'll have to refer to local regulations and statutory codes to see if the back window thingies are legal.

Obviously, there must be a market for them in some states because they're selling them in StylinConcepts (which is a national catalog - I get it too)...

Keep in mind, I'm dealing with regulations on a daily basis in my line of work. Sure, they're environmental regs but, I have to remain neutral in many instances to avoid the possibility of litigation.... thus, I answer only what I know and refer other questions to people who do...

I will have to vote you off the island if you do it though... Just because I'm a PITA.

ROTFLMAO....probably went out of style, but since 911 they seemed to have come back.....not sure why I never liked the darn things.....although I can see a purpose for them since you can't see in the window when ya have them.

"thingies" now is that the technical term for them?
