As if you're one to question my 'thingies' description. That is a VERY technical term that I learned that from you!!! Then again, you always appologize to whoever is reading for using such vauge terminology....hahahaha... My appologies to all that read the earlier post on thingies... there... now I'm clear.

I'm not sure that the 'thingies' are illegal in Kentucky... I saw a Chevy with a large Mexican Flag on the back window on my way to work this morning... It looked, shall we say... interesting.

Why not come to Kentucky Len?

RP.....

I wish !!!

Strange to say that's the second invite to KY in a week...our neighbor down in South Tx lives there most of the year and has asked us to stop by...BUT as you may remember we have just arrived back in the UK...I'm totally wiped out and jetlagged but desperately trying to stay awake until normal bedtime otherwise my clock will be totally out.

Sarah.....

Hi sweetie !

Mike F150.....

Lenny

yes the "thingy" term is all mine, but I am a chick and nobody expects me to know mechanical terminology.......especially being in Accounting/Finance....and besides you guys call one thing a million different names...ie...differential..aka transfer case...aka who knows what else it is called

but the techincal term for the window thingy is "Custom See-Thru Window Graphics" but I think I prefer the window thingies better.

Lent,
I don't think these were ever illegal I think they got to the point where it was deemed low class to have one. But that was the cheap mountain view ones that you used to see on 1970's model trucks. The newer ones that are coming out look quite a bit better than those. Not something i want but...but hey it's all personal preference. I don't think there are many things that would take away from our beauties. The window graphic would look nice I think if that is what someone wants to do. I eventually will add a LUND Moonvisor and more than likely LUND Eclipse hood scoops to mine, I like the looks of these..again personal preference.

Scott

P.S. Hope all is well with your mom

HAHA... me too man. It'd be a pleasure to meet up with you. Second invite in a week? Wow... I guess Kentucky is 'JUST THAT FRIENDLY' (believe it or not, that's on our new damn license plates with a smiley face sun... how awful is that?...all I can say is NOT ON MY TRUCK!... I'm getting an alumni plate for my alma mater very soon).

Fight the jet lag man! I know you can deal with it as you have many times before. I don't envy you.

Again, best of luck with your mother.
