One Less King Ranch

For all of us King Ranch lovers it's a sad sad day here in KingRanchdomville, especially for you 01 owners.

My boss totaled out his Chestnut 01 King Ranch last week.

A moment of silence please.

Sorry to hear that.

Was his center console lid in good shape? I'm pretty sure he could part the whole thing out to us if he was interested.

Whoa!! Slow down, Sarah! Let's show some respect here. Let's give some people there period of mourning before we start the graverobbing.

(Please realize, however, that this period of mourning can't last too long, or else in the insurance company will get their hands on it... hehe)

Seriously, though. From one Chestnut to another, sorry to hear the news. Hope everyone is okay.

He was on a ski trip to Colorado with his wife and son, everyone came out with minor bruises and back pain.

I just found out yesterday when I got back to work, don't know many details yet, not sure where in CO the accident happened.

I was thinking like the rest of you about picking over the bones, I'm looking for a project truck like an old Studebaker or 55-56 Ford and would like to have the seats.

I'll keep y'all updated on the disposition of the remains.

I am interested in the rear console itself. With or without the lid is fine with me. I want to modify mine but would like one to be able to return to stock sometime. Keep us all informed!

If you dont use the seats let me know I'll make the driver over to TX (how far away are you from houston?).

Where was the point of inpact? Front, rear,or side?

I could sure use the fog lamps for my truck I been trying to hunt down a pair for sometime now...Although I think I may have finally found some.

Sorry to hear about this tragety! Thank God everyone was OK. That is the most important!!

Hey there, if you recall I am the closest to you, I would like to see some of those pickens if they are available. I have a front console lid I could swap with his easily. It does not have the leather on it of course, just the regular beige from a regular supercrew and can be swapped in 10 seconds! Let me know on seats also. This is all up to the insurance co. though, if they already have posession, too late!!!
