Alternate Transportation

This is what I like to drive when I', not driving the King Ranch, it's not anything like a 1936 Rolls Royce Limo but it's a lot of fun to drive.

I spent 12 years and a bunch of money doing a complete pan off restoration. I get a lot of stares driving it around the Dallas area, I guess because you don't see many of them on the road any more.

Those of you who post photos here all the time tell me what I did wrong, all I could get was a thumb nail photo to come up in my gallery link. I'm sure I followed all the instructions.

You have to get to your gallery and enlarge the pic...then copy the properties into your post here as an image

Thank you Logical, I appreciate you enlarging the photo so all the folks can get a good look at the car.

This project is my pride and joy, I spent countless hours working on it, almost every weekend for 4 years, then it got pushed to the corner of the garage for several years. I finally finished it last summer, 12 years after starting the restoration.

The engine is a 1776 Fuel Injection, which I built my self and I did the painting in my garage--a big mistake because of the over spray and fumes in the house--didn't make the little woman very happy.

I also have a 1974 VW Beetle Beater that I drive to work every day to save paying a big part of my paycheck to the Arabs. I would rather drive the King Ranch but 12 MPG vs 30 MPG is a no brainer
