Question 2004 King Ranch

All of the info on the new 2004 F-150 just shows trim levels XL, XLT, Fx4, Lariet, and Lightning. No mention of a King Rance version. Does anyone know if the King Ranch trim will be discontinued???? I'm planning on getting a new truck this fall.

I expect that it will be released late or in 2005...

I seriously doubt that they will drop the trim level... it's been too successful.

Speaking to someone at the King Ranch it would seem the contract with Ford letting them use the name and logo will continue for a few years yet.
Having said that of course there is no compunction on Ford to do so.
It would seem very doubtful that they would not continue to make use of what has been a very successful package though.

The contract Ford has with King Ranch runs for several more years. You will see it later on when the details of the 2004's are more set in stone.
